MP Update and Hi

Hi all. I've also been very neglectful of the Ya Ya site. Not good.

Wow, wild fires in Georgia, that isn't something you see everday. Crazy.

Well things have been rolling right along w/ me.

Hubby and I vacationed in Aruba. It's our 2 year late honeymoon. We had an awesome time. Back in October of last year I decided I was going to loose some weight for the trip and started Weight Watchers..this is after I tried doing it on my own with the support of the shrinking Ya Ya's. I've gone from over 200lbs down to the 176 range.. I'm doing it healthy...portion control, common sense and going to WW meetings. (lovely photo above from Aruba)

I went through a dry spell on my own blog but have started becoming more active again. I'm glad, blogging is so theraputic.

Mom and Dad are getting old but doing well. Dad is 86 and Mom is 81. Mom decided to buy her first computer. She got a laptop through a sweepstakes program. Last night I attempted to get her all on line. We're talking about downloading Windows 98..yes you heard correctly. So she has her email address but I don't have msn downloaded correctly yet for her to go on line. She is NOT getting the link to my blog that's for sure. TMI in there.

Hubby and I are doing well, my step son is in the 1st grade but is reading at a near 3rd grade level..he's very smart and this is a problem cause sometimes I forget he's just a little kid when he's being a shithead. I tend to act like a 7 year old too.. :-)

Hope everyone else is doing well. I think it's time for a roll call. Between now and next Friday my goal is to come by everyones blog, read up and post!

Hey, Ladies! We're on fire!

um.... Literally! I live in Ware County, Georgia, home of the south Georgia forest fire. Actually, about 5 miles away from it.... give or take. You might not have heard of it, considering the pathetic amount of national coverage it's gotten - despite it's being currently the largest wildfire in the US.

I'm trying to take a lot of pics and keep regular updates on my blog and on Flikr. I'll hopefully be able to go out and get some more pictures tomorrow.

My Daddy had a heart attack last night. He's having open heart surgery tomorrow. Please keep him in your thoughts & prayers!

Where I'm at....

I'm dealing with a horrid breakup on top of losing my job. All the gory details are on my blog...well actually just the latest back stabs.

I've been such a failure at managing this blog. I'm sorry.
